Klarna Secures €1.4B Facility with Santander

Hey Payments Fanatic!
Klarna just locked in its first-ever warehouse financing facility deal, securing up to €1.4B ($1.63B) from Banco Santander. The facility is backed by receivables from its German business and marks a big step in diversifying funding sources.
The deal follows Klarna’s forward-flow agreement of $26B in BNPL debt sold to Nelnet last week and a similar £30B deal with Elliott in 2024. CFO Niclas Neglen says the new Santander facility is now a key pillar of Klarna’s growth strategy.
