ING Takes BLIK Phone Transfers to Businesses
BLIK Phone Transfers Reach Businesses

Hey Payments Fanatic!

What if you could pay a business using just its phone number?

That’s now possible in Poland.

ING Bank Śląski is bringing BLIK’s phone-number transfers to business customers, so they can send and receive money without having to share their bank account number.

If you use BLIK, you probably already know how it works. Pick a phone number, enter the amount, and send the money.

The interesting part is that the same thing can now happen when the recipient is a business.

I just got back from Poland, and BLIK is everywhere. It’s one of those payment methods that feels completely normal once you see it in everyday use.

So extending it from sending money to people to sending money to businesses feels like a pretty natural next step.

Here’s what else is happening in payments today👇

See you Monday!

Cheers,

Marcel
