Klarna Brings Dispute Management and Consumer FX to Mollie's 350,000 Merchants

Klarna Brings Dispute Management and Consumer FX to Mollie's 350,000 Merchants
Klarna and Mollie Expand Payments Across Europe

Hey Payments Fanatic!

Klarna just found a faster way to reach hundreds of thousands of European merchants.

It has expanded its partnership with Mollie. The new contract brings enhanced dispute management and consumer FX to Mollie's more than 350,000 merchants, rolling out across its direct API, hosted payment page and platform plug-ins.

Merchants already using Klarna through Mollie get the new features through their existing integration. New ones can switch on Pay in Full, Pay in 3 and Financing at checkout.

Consumer FX is the part I'd watch. Klarna launched it last month: shoppers pay in their own currency with no exchange fee, and the rate is shown upfront. Klarna says early merchants saw a 5% lift in conversion.

The timing works for Mollie too. After acquiring GoCardless, it now covers all EEA markets.

What stands out to me is the distribution. With one PSP deal, Klarna puts its newest features in front of a huge merchant base. As Klarna's David Sykes puts it: "one integration, one agreement, global reach from day one."

Would you shop more often from a foreign store if you could pay in your own currency?

Would you let an AI agent do your holiday shopping?

Hereโ€™s what else is happening in payments today๐Ÿ‘‡

See you tomorrow!

Cheers,

Marcel
