Mesta Is Giving AI Agents a Path to Actually Move Money
Mesta Launches Agentic Payments

Hey Payments Fanatic!

AI agents can already read data, prepare instructions and coordinate workflows. The harder question is: how do you actually let them move money safely?

Mesta is tackling that problem with its new Agentic Payments infrastructure, starting with an MCP server that connects AI systems directly to its fiat and stablecoin settlement network.

For now, agents can discover payment functions, pull quotes and payment status, and prepare transactions โ€” but a named person still has to approve anything that moves money. The roadmap goes further, with mandates, spending limits, and eventually end-to-end transactions within pre-approved boundaries.

Thatโ€™s an interesting shift: instead of putting an AI layer on top of payments, Mesta is trying to connect agents directly to the infrastructure, authorization, and compliance underneath them.
