Ramp's European expansion starts in the UK

Hey Payments Fanatic!

Another US FinTech has landed across the pond.

This time, it’s Ramp.

The company has officially launched in the UK, bringing its corporate cards, expense management, and bill payment products to British businesses.

It's Ramp’s first major move outside North America, after expanding into Canada earlier this year.

Ramp has also been building up its payments business, acquiring Billhop earlier this year to get payment authorisation in the UK and EU, while working with Visa on its UK corporate card.

And there’s another trend that could make this expansion interesting: AI spending is exploding.

Ramp says spending on AI products across its customers has grown around 21x since June 2025 🤯

So Ramp is entering the UK just as the way businesses spend money is changing pretty quickly.

Here’s what else is happening in payments 👇

Back at it tomorrow!

Cheers,

Marcel
