TrustLinq and Ripple bring RLUSD to everyday payments

TrustLinq and Ripple bring RLUSD to everyday payments
TrustLinq Unlocks Fiat Payments With RLUSD

Hey Payments Fanatic!

Stablecoins are great for trading, but what about paying your supplier’s invoice or your employees’ salaries?

That’s the gap TrustLinq wants to close with its expanded partnership with Ripple.

Businesses holding RLUSD can now pay third-party bank accounts in more than 190 countries and 80+ currencies, straight from their own wallets. TrustLinq converts the amount into local currency, and the recipient gets a regular bank transfer. No exchange detour, and no crypto wallet needed on the other end.

As Co-Founder of TrustLinq Lili Metodieva puts it, stablecoin holders have never lacked ways to trade. What they’ve lacked is a simple way to pay. Think supplier invoices in Vietnam, salaries in Germany, or rent in Dubai, all paid directly from a stablecoin wallet.

And here’s something that puts the opportunity into perspective: around $35 trillion moves over stablecoin rails annually, but only about 1% represents real-world payments.

Could that be about to change?

Here’s what else is happening in payments today👇

See you tomorrow!

Cheers,

Marcel
