Hey Payments Fanatic!

Circle is making a big move into cross-border payments 👀

The company has agreed to acquire Singapore-based payments platform Tazapay, adding another piece to its global payments puzzle.

Tazapay has 60+ banking and FinTech partners and connects businesses to local payout rails across more than 100 markets. It also processes over $25bn in annualised payment volume, with around 60% already involving stablecoins.

So, you can see why Circle is interested.

The acquisition gives the company more reach in cross-border payments, and another way to put USDC to work beyond the crypto world.

Circle clearly isn’t stopping at stablecoins. Its payments ambitions are getting bigger.

There’s plenty more happening in Payments👇

Catch you in tomorrow’s edition!

Cheers,

Marcel
